Israeli protesters oppose IDF's Gaza City offensive

Protesters encamped outside of the Israeli prime minister’s home on Monday and disrupted a forum hosted by The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday amid a new offensive.
Sept. 16 Protesters encamped outside of the Israeli prime minister’s home on Monday and disrupted a forum hosted by The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday amid a military push in Gaza City.
The protesters are aligned with the Hostages and Missing Family Forum and oppose the recently begun offensive in Gaza City by Israel Defense Forces, according to All Israel News.
They oppose the offensive, saying it will ensure none of the about 50 remaining hostages will be returned to Israel. About 20 of the hostages are considered to be alive.
They referred to the military offensive as the «sacrifice of the hostages» and accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of undertaking the offensive for political reasons.
