DURHAM – NC State and Duke traded touchdowns on their first offensive drives Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Duke (1-2, 0-0 in the ACC) is hosting NC State (3-0, 1-0 in the ACC) in a key conference game for both teams.
Terrell Anderson took a screen pass 75 yards for a touchdown on NC State’s third play of the game to give the visiting Wolfpack an early 7-0 lead against Duke.
Duke answered with a long scoring drive of its own, aided by an NC State penalty on a punt that allowed the Blue Devils to go for it on fourth down – and convert.
