A majority of professionals consider human validation essential in hiring decisions, despite the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI), according to a report by workforce staffing and HR solutions provider Genius HRTech seen by PTI.The report, based on inputs from 1,887 professionals across industries in August, found that 72 per cent of respondents believe human oversight is necessary, while only 15 per cent are open to fully AI-driven decisions if systems are well-calibrated. More than 10 per cent said AI could be used in high-volume junior or fresher recruitment.
AI efficiency and candidate experienceRespondents noted improvements in hiring efficiency, with 47 per cent reporting a significant reduction in time-to-hire and 28 per cent seeing slight improvements.
