Del Rey has registered a new song with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and publishers (ASCAP), as shared on reddit. Its title? First Light.
Of course, this could just be a new song unrelated to the game. But as Bond fans spotted the news, speculation of the song’s purpose for the game has grown. After all, the singer has long been discussed as a suitable Bond theme candidate.
Back in 2024, Del Rey told the BBC she wrote a theme song for the last Bond film, the Sam Mendes-directed Spectre (2015), but it was turned down.
