The Surface Laptop was one of my favorite laptops of 2024. Now, it’s on sale for $999, a very competitive price for a flagship Copilot+ PC.
When I reviewed Microsoft’s Surface Laptop with the Snapdragon X Elite chip last summer, I was impressed with its snappy performance, fantastic battery life, and overall user experience, while noting that it was a little on the pricey side.
Fast forward a year, and the Surface Laptop from 2024 is significantly more affordable, especially on sale during Amazon Prime Day for $999, a massive $600 off its original price of $1,599. This might be the biggest discount of the sale event on any mainstream flagship laptop yet, just keep in mind it’s for Prime members only.
My perception of the Surface Pro was already positive, but on sale, it’s even more so — placing it in line with other machines that offer at lot less at this price. Let’s take a brief look at what you’re getting.
