A gamer has demonstrated how they successfully telecommuted to work from within The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Through a clever combination of tools and assets, this Skyrim fan was able to bask in some of the most idyllic places within Tamriel all while working.
Over the years, Skyrim has evolved from what it was at launch, with new versions and a never-ending supply of mods. The virtual reality version of Skyrim, which launched back in 2017, is one manner of reliving the game in a completely new way, and that’s what this fan did to combine their day job with Skyrim.

YouTuber Habie147 decided to challenge himself to see whether he could work his actual job while enjoying the world of Skyrim. The YouTuber regularly plays virtual reality games on his channel, and utilized Skyrim VR in order to complete this challenge. In order to achieve the challenge, Habie147 booted up Skyrim VR through Steam. By using the Steam VR overlay system, he was able to pull up browser windows, allowing him to access his work in his email, Slack account, and even work in QuickBooks while the game continued running all around him.
