Honor confirms the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design is the final model in its Porsche partnership, marking the end of co-branded smartphone series.
At the launch event yesterday, Honor introduced the Magic 8 Pro Air alongside the Watch GS 5. The headline device, however, was the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design.
Featuring a bold design, the smartphone packs the absolute best hardware of 2026. And it’s also the first Honor phone to support a professional imaging kit.
However, a company official has now confirmed that it will be the last device born from Honor’s partnership with Porsche Design.
Shortly after the launch event, Chen Ligeng, a performance development engineer at Honor, confirmed on Weibo that the newly launched device is “the final pinnacle of the Porsche Design series.
