The next project from Ubisoft in the Rayman series has apparently leaked, as a potential game project has already received an age rating despite not officially being revealed by the company. The leak corroborated previous rumors about Ubisoft and its plans for Rayman’s 30th anniversary, despite the occasion already happening back in September 2025.
The news about Rayman’s return came amid a tumultuous time for Ubisoft. On January 21, Ubisoft announced a major shift in its operations and canceled multiple game projects that were in development. The biggest casualty of Ubisoft’s restructuring was a highly-anticipated remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which was stated to be near completion when the developer pulled the plug. Although it was not canceled by Ubisoft, a remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was instead delayed. The fallout from Ubisoft’s changes also had a negative impact on its bottom line. On January 22, Ubisoft’s stock price fell to its lowest point in nearly 15 years.
