Amazon Prime Day 2018 is approaching (we think). Here’s when to expect the Amazon Prime Day date and how to get the best Prime Day deals.
Amazon Prime Day 2018 will be the fourth of its kind. While Amazon hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, we’re expecting the next Amazon Prime Day to happen in July. Here, we share everything we know so far, and offer advice about how to make the most of the rapidly growing deals event.
Amazon Prime Day 2017 was on 11 July, and the years before it were within a day or two of that, so it’s safe to assume that the Amazon Prime Day 2018 date will be somewhere around then.
Amazon seems to prefer a Tuesday or Wednesday, so we’d guess 10 or 11 July 2018 is a reasonably safe bet.
That said, the latest rumours suggest that Amazon plans to push the date back a week this year, instead treating us to Amazon Prime Day on Tuesday 17 July.
That’s according to 9To5Toys, which claims to have spoken to sources who suggest deals will begin the night before, on Monday 16 July, and that some exclusive Prime-member deals could kick off up to a week in advance.
Early deals are expected to include Amazon Echo products, as we expect some exclusive deals on Amazon Prime Day itself to be available only via the voice assistant.
Last year, Amazon officially announced Prime Day two weeks before the day itself, so we expect to hear from Amazon within days.
We’ll update this article as soon as we hear more from Amazon and the rumour mill, but in the meantime we round up all of the best deals you can get on Amazon right now in our best Amazon deals article .
