Watch ‘Hamilton’ Fan Prince Harry Sing a Bit of His Ancestor George III’s Song From the Show (Video)

Prince Harry sang a bit of King George III’s song from “Hamilton” when he went to see the show on Wednesday night in London.
Prince Harry wasn’t just going to attend London’s West End performance of “Hamilton” on Wednesday night, he also treated the audience to his own rendition of one of the musical’s songs. Sort of.
When Harry appeared onstage to thank the cast and grew following the performance, the he sang the opening line of “You’ll Be Back,” which is sung by King George III in the musical. The real-life King George III was one of Harry’s ancestors.
“You say…,” Harry starts to sing, before he said, “That’s definitely not going to happen.”

Prince Harry attended the show with his wife and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Margle to raise money for Sentebale, a charity for HIV he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.
The couple also held a meet-and-greet session with the cast after the performance.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the famous musical, couldn’t contain his excitement for Harry’s impromptu performance.
“King George III’s great-great-great-great-great-great grandson The Duke Of Sussex sang a few bars tonight,” he tweeted, quote-tweeting Kensington Palace’s video of Harry’s speech.
