The video game publisher Activision and developer Treyarch officially reveal the first exclusive Black Ops Pass character for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Several months ago, Activision and Treyarch provided Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 fans with initial details about the first-person shooter’s forthcoming Season Pass dubbed the “Black Ops Pass” to offer those who purchase it bonus content for Zombies, Multiplayer, and Blackout. Now, the publisher and developer have decided to officially reveal the first of four exclusive Blackout characters for use on Day One for those who own the Black Ops Pass.
As seen in the image below, the first exclusive Blackout character to come out of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s Black Ops Pass is named “Shadow Man”, and those familiar with the first-person shooter’s franchise will recall him appearing in Black Ops 3‘s Zombies as the story’s main antagonist. As of now, those who wish to acquire the character and play as him in Blackout will only be able to do so after paying for the game’s Season Pass.
At the moment, it looks as though the remaining three characters coming with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s Black Ops Pass are going to be made available to players at a later date in the near to distant future. With this being the case, it’s currently unclear as to who these playable characters for Blackout will be, much less when they will be added to the game. Of course, with Shadow Man being one of the more memorable figures from the Black Ops franchise, it will be interesting to see if Treyarch’s other character picks are more obscure.
With less than 24 hours left to go before Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 officially goes live, most players will need to prepare themselves for the action to come by clearing out some hard drive space on their respective systems. After all, the title’s Day One update is huge, and there could be even more big patches to come if Treyarch intends to not only keep Black Ops 4‘s multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout mode bug and glitch free, but also flush with fresh content for the foreseeable future.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12,2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
