Microsoft’s well-received Surface Headphones are only going to be available in USA and UK, and thankfully, on this occasion, UK residents will not have to wait forever to get their hands on them.
The headphones, which are appealing especially to developers and other office workers who want to maintain their productivity in distraction-prone environments, utilize 4 beam-forming microphones, 4 active noise-cancelling microphones, and 13 levels of noise reduction for up to 30 dB for active noise cancellation to keep users focused.
They also feature 40 mm free drivers delivering up to115 dB, automatic pause and play, support phone calls, USB-C charging, 3.5mm connectivity, Microsoft’s own Bluetooth fast pair technology and 15 hours of battery life.
The headphones are getting some good reviews from journalists who tried them out, who report the sound reproduction and noise cancellation are both top notch.
The $350 headphones are available to pre-order from today, the 15th November 2018 in the USA, with shipments starting on the 19th November 2018.
Now the headset has also popped up in the Microsoft Store in UK, where you can submit a preorder for £329.99. Even more surprising, the headset will ship by the 29th November, well in time for a Christmas present for yourself or a very loved one.
Microsoft has been working on the headphones for the last three years and Panos Panay called them “One of my dream products right now.”
As a new, experimental product, stock levels are likely low, and the headphones will likely be sold out soon. They can be seen pre-ordered in the US Store here and the UK here.
