Michigan is off to its best start since the 2012-13 season. It now holds its highest ranking since that season. The Wolverines are No. 5 in the latest Associated Press top-25 poll, released Monday afternoon, their best showing since being ranked fourth in the Feb. 25,2013 poll.
Michigan State fell one spot to No. 10.
The Wolverines climbed two spots from last week after beating then-No. 11 North Carolina and then-No. 19 Purdue, both at home.
