Here’s how to unlock Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster characters that players have previously failed battles with by using a semi-hidden menu option.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate boasts the most impressive character roster in the franchise, so it will likely take players quite some time to unlock every character. However, roster battles can be pretty difficult, especially for players that are new to the franchise. This can cause frustration when a new fighter quickly wipes the floor with whatever character a player is using, leaving the new challenger locked and the player’s feelings hurt. Luckily, there’s a way for players to quickly retry these battles, though it is fairly hidden within the game’s menus.
To do so, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players will need to go into the Games & More menu, where they will find an icon of a set of double doors located on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
