Despite owning best record, the Toronto Raptors aren't the best team in the NBA, Danny Green says

The Toronto Raptors may have the best record in the NBA, but starting shooting guard Danny Green says they’re not the best team in the league. At least not yet.

The Toronto Raptors may have the best record in the NBA, but starting shooting guard Danny Green says they’re not the best team in the league.
At least not yet.
“We may have the best record but I don’t think we’re the best team in the league, or even in the East right now,” Green told Forbes SportsMoney in advance of his Battle in the Apple Basketball Showcase to promote hoops in his hometown . “We have to be more mature. We have to be more professional in taking every game serious.”
Green’s comments came before he and the Raptors made a statement Wednesday night by dismantling the two-time NBA champion Golden State Warriors, 113-93, at Golden State. The Raptors improved to 2-0 against the Warriors this season and to 7-1 without star Kawhi Leonard, who remains out with a hip injury.
“They’re not an up and coming team, they’re here,” Kevin Durant, who had 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss, said after the game.
The @Raptors have the NBA’s best record but @DGreen_14 told me he doesn’t think they’re the best team in the NBA, or even the East.
