More than 95% of U. S. counties have free Obamacare options for low-income Americans selecting coverage via the healthcare.gov, research firm Avalere Health said.

Today’s last day of Obamacare open enrollment in most states has a rush of Americans signing up for health coverage analysts say can still bring them a plan at no monthly premium cost.
Supporters and even skeptics of the Affordable Care Act urged Americans to ignore a U. S. District Judge’s ruling Friday striking down the law, saying the case still needs to wend its way through the courts. An appeal of a federal judge’s ruling is already in the works, the ACA’s supporters say.
Saturday is the last day of open enrollment for individual coverage under the Affordable Care Act for health benefits that begin Jan. 1,2019. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said this past week they’ve “seen an uptick in the volume of consumers using HealthCare.gov and contacting our call center as we get closer to the December 15 deadline to select a plan for the upcoming year.”
And Friday night, top health officials in the Trump administration said exchanges where Americans buy Obamacare remain “open for business.”
The recent federal court decision is still moving through the courts, and the exchanges are still open for business and we will continue with open enrollment.
