Learn more. “And Just Like That…” presents a continuation of the beloved show “Sex and the City.” The series is coming to HBO Max on December 9 with a two-episode premiere. HBO Max costs $10 a month for ad-supported streaming, or $15 a month for an ad-free experience. The show follows three of the original series’ characters: Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). Samantha, originally played by Kim Cattrall, will not be returning for the new show. Just as “Sex and the City” detailed the day-to-day life and struggles of women in their 30s, “And Just Like That…” picks up years later by focusing on the daily lives of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte in their 50s.
