Disney has a release date for the live-action remake of the 1940 animated classic movie “Pinocchio.”
The film will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Sept. 8, 2022. Disney also dropped the first trailer for the musical starring Tom Hanks, 65, as Geppetto and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 41, as Jiminy Cricket during “Good Morning America” on Tuesday. The first look teases, but does not show, the doll.
“Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight,” Geppetto (Hanks) says in the teaser trailer.
