‘The View’ hosts fired back at Trump after he called one “dumb” and labeled the other “filthy” during rallies in Pennsylvania, igniting a lively exchange.
Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin, co-hosts of The View, responded sharply after former President Donald Trump criticized them during two rallies in Pennsylvania.
Trump held a rally double-header in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, making stops in both Scranton and Reading, where he openly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her appearance on The View a day prior.
Trump called his opponent “dumb” while suggesting Hostin was even “dumber.” His remarks appeared to be in reference to Hostin’s question of Harris: “If anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”
“I think the other one [Hostin] asking the question is dumber than Kamala, so that’s a dummy. I’ve watched her over the years”, Trump said. “That is one dumb woman.”
During Thursday’s show, Hostin responded with her trademark “legal note”, which she frequently shares with the audience.
