Harry Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, expressed her sorrow over the passing of Payne, who tragically died at the age of 31 on Wednesday, October 16.
In an tribute posted to Instagram the same night of Payne’s tragic death, Twist shared a simple message with her followers, writing, “Just a boy. ????”, accompanied by a black background and a broken heart emoji. Her post comes hours after reports confirmed the “Both Ways” singer’s death following a fall from several stories at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was confirmed by Policía Federal Argentina.
Fans were quick to express their own sorrow on the post, leaving messages for Twist, 56, as well as the rest of Payne’s family.
