A northern Henry County resident was killed Friday in a one-vehicle accident east of New Castle.
NEW CASTLE, Ind. – A northern Henry County resident was killed Friday in a one-vehicle accident east of New Castle.
Henry County sheriff’s deputies said Darren Damond Dishman, 47, of rural Mooreland, was driving northbound in the 2000 block of South Wilbur Wright Road when his vehicle left the road, then rolled several times in a bean field.
Dishman, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident, about a mile south of Ind. 38, was reported about 12: 45 p.m.
Along with deputies, the Henry County coroner, New Castle EMS and Liberty Township emergency personnel responded to the scene.
Dishman had previously resided in Muncie, Sulphur Springs and New Castle.
