Selena Gomez, who recently completed another rehab stint, says she’ll be facing depression and anxiety for the rest of her life.
“I’ve had a lot of issues with depression and anxiety, and I’ve been very vocal about it, but it’s not something I feel I’ll ever overcome,” the 25-year-old pop star told Harper’s Bazaar .
“There won’t be a day when I’m like, ‘Here I am in a pretty dress — I won!’ I think it’s a battle I’m gonna have to face for the rest of my life, and I’m okay with that because I know that I’m choosing myself over anything else,” she concluded.
Gomez adds she’ll continue to put her health and well-being first and hopes that 2018 will be a better year than last.
In early February, it was reported the “Fetish” singer completed a two-week treatment program at Connecticut luxury facility Privy-Swiss for depression and anxiety.
Although she had access to her phone during her onsite treatment, she concentrated on therapy, healthy eating and meditation.

Gomez is no stranger to getting help. She previously sought treatment in 2014 and 2016.
