Experten: Russen schleichen durch Tunnel nach Kupjansk

0

Array

Apple iPhone 17 Pro vs. iPhone 16 Pro: I compared both models, and there's a big difference

0

The iPhone 17 is a clear step up from the iPhone 16 – but is the Pro model truly worth it this year? Here’s how it compares.
Apple’s long-awaited iPhone 17 lineup has arrived, and as speculated, it replaces the Plus model with an iPhone 17 Air. However, the focus remains on the more expensive Pro series.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max now offer better thermals to keep the device cool, an aluminum build for more funky colors, and a few other essential quality-of-life improvements.
If you’re eyeing the iPhone 16 Pro at lower prices in the market or own one already, here’s how the latest-gen iPhone compares to its predecessor.SpecificationsBuy the Apple iPhone 17 Pro if…
Apple says the iPhone 17 Pro is the most durable iPhone ever. It features Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, which is said to be three times scratch-resistant than before. Additionally, there’s Ceramic Shield on the back, which is four times stronger than before. If your current iPhone is prone to scratches and bothersome to you, the iPhone 17 Pro would be the perfect new phone.
I am an iPhone 16 Pro user, and my biggest problem with it is screen legibility in direct sunlight. I need to wipe the display whenever I want to use it outdoors. It gets smudgy and doesn’t get bright enough for a comfortable viewing experience. Apple seems to have fixed this issue with the iPhone 17 Pro.
As mentioned, the new Pro iPhone sports Ceramic Shield 2 on the front. It isn’t just more resistant to scratches but also adds a 7-layer anti-reflective coating on top of your screen. This is paired with a display that is rated to go up to 3,000 nits in peak brightness outdoors (vs. 2,000 nits on the 16 Pro). Theoretically, it is a quality-of-life improvement, which should offer a more legible experience.
Apple also improved the performance and battery life on its new iPhone 17 Pro. According to the company, it can last up to eight hours longer (in video playback) than before.
The new Apple A19 Pro chipset is combined with a vapor cooling chamber to offer better thermal management. It offers 40% better sustained performance than before. The Cupertino giant said this is “MacBook Pro levels of compute in an iPhone.” We’ll test to find out in our review, but the claims do look promising.
The iPhone 17 Pro houses a new 18MP selfie camera with support for Center Stage and “ultrastabilized” video recording. If you regularly record yourself, these two features will be immensely useful in your creations. Now, while running, you can record clear videos without all the shaky movements, and Center Stage will keep you in the frame, too.You should buy the Apple iPhone 16 Pro if…
The Apple iPhone 17 sports its most experimental rear design change in years. Until last year, Apple stuck to a design it pioneered years ago with the introduction of a three-camera layout on the iPhone 11 series.
The camera module has only gotten bigger in the last five generations, but with the iPhone 17, it now extends to the other side of the phone. This might not be a design that die-hard Apple users wanted. And if you are one of them, the iPhone 16 Pro is the better phone for you.
The Pro iPhones are only getting more expensive. But if you can get one near the price of an iPhone 17, even if it is a last-gen product, it makes sense to save a few hundred dollars and get the iPhone 16 Pro over the iPhone 17 Pro.
It’ll still give you versatile cameras, ProMotion screens, the goodness of iOS 26, and a decent battery life. With the iPhone 17 lineup going on sale in the coming weeks, the iPhone 16 Pro should be available for lower prices, and if you can get a good deal, go for it!
The Pro iPhone series has been getting heavier every year since Apple announced the lightest iPhone 15 Pro (187 grams). It shot up to 199 grams with the iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro now sits at 206 grams (back to iPhone 14 Pro weight) on the scale. A 200g+ phone might not be for everyone. So, if you want the lightest possible device out of these two, the iPhone 16 Pro is the phone to go for.

5 Of The Best Attachments For Your RYOBI Hand Vacuum (According To Users)

0

There aren’t that many Ryobi hand vacuum attachments, but you’d be surprised how many of them are considered must-haves by their most loyal users.
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.
Ryobi is one of the most popular tool brands you’ll find at Home Depot. These are products you can’t find in too many other places. You can’t pick up Ryobi tools at Lowe’s and Walmart won’t sell Ryobi tools either, because the brand is affiliated with Home Depot. A notable tool that you can get from Ryobi is hand vacuums, and these come with several attachments you can get to enhance your experience with them.
The attachments work in different ways, and some of them are notably better than others. When you’re looking for these attachments, it can be tricky to know which ones you should purchase and which ones you’re better off keeping away from. Although your choice comes down to how you plan to use your hand vacuum and where you’re using it, it never hurts to get a second opinion from existing owners. We’ve spent time scrolling through the reviews provided by consumers who have some of the best Ryobi hand vacuum attachments and have highlighted their choices in this list.
Although your experience may vary from the ones we highlight, we can help you figure out which hand vacuum attachments you should add to your collection. Attachments are a cost-effective way to improve the usability of your tools, and they’re one of the things we recommend you consider before buying Ryobi vacuums, or any other products by the brand.Mini-Motorized Beater Bar
A notable accessory that customers enjoy using is the Mini-Motorized Beater Bar, an attachment capable of digging up dirt and debris from tight spaces and carpet surfaces. A problem for many hand vacuum owners is being able to clean around corners, tight spaces, or even car seats, and consumers claim this tool can help make these cleaning projects much easier. You can get this attachment for $39.97.
Many users who have this attachment regularly use it to remove troublesome dust from locations where they need to apply more pressure. It’s also a great asset in removing troublesome animal hairs, as these can stick to a carpet or get trapped in untouched corners of a home. Consumers also share that they regularly use it in tight spaces in between their car seats.
Although consumers do praise this attachment, some have noted that because it doesn’t lock into the hand vacuum, it has a chance to fall out. This can be annoying if you’re trying to clean up a rougher location, and you need to apply more pressure. Some also wish it could be slightly wider for some tighter locations, but it’s not a dealbreaker for most, given the quality of this product. Beyond not being able to lock it in, the attachment is highly regarded by owners of the Ryobi Stick Vacs, especially by pet owners.Hand Vacuum Accessory Kit
Having multiple tools at the ready whenever you’re in the middle of any cleaning project can make your life easier, especially if you’re limited to using a hand vacuum. It’s why consumers praise others about the Ryobi Hand Vacuum Accessory Kit, as it provides multiple options for you to pick from when you’re cleaning, each with a different specialty. You can get it for $29.97, and the kit comes with a hose, a dust brush, an extension wand, and an upholstery brush.
Consumers who have purchased this pack praise its usefulness for cleaning tough to reach locations and to work on their car. It also works in smaller corners of a home, with consumers praising the versatility it adds to a traditional hand vacuum, while keeping the device’s mobility. The attachments offer several choices based on where you’d like to take the hand vacuum, and consumers also noted that these attachments didn’t make their hand vacuum any less mobile.
Some think the price is too high, since it’s comparable to some of Ryobi’s hand vacuum models offered on Home Depot, with the vacuums being only slightly more expensive. Still, these accessories are a good way to add value to multiple types of Ryobi hand vacuums available on the market.Jobsite Vacuum Accessory Kit
For anyone who prefers to work on DIY projects in their garage or around the house, you don’t want to use a standard vacuum for cleaning up dust that you would use on wood chips. You want to go about it a different way and have distinct cleaning options at the ready. That’s why several users believe the Ryobi Jobsite Hand Vacuum Accessory Kit is a necessary purchase for these situations. It comes with an extension wand, crevice tool, floorhead, and a hose that you can equip alongside these attachments.
Consumers recommend this set for any project, since it’s capable of withstanding larger and heavier debris, such as gravel, wood chips, or other particles you might cut up. The reviews also note that these attachments have made cleaning up water much easier, especially with the hose. Others share that they regularly use it when clearing out rougher areas around litter boxes, where outdoor debris periodically shows up next to doors.
Although users recommend these attachments, they have a universal problem with them not clicking in with their hand vacuum as they put these attachments on. Without a lock, these attachments easily detach while they’re in use. While this is annoying, it’s not enough to ruin the product, and it doesn’t take away from its build quality.Wet and Dry Vacuum Dust Brush
Corners and tight spaces are a troublesome area for any vacuum. To get around this limitation, you can use an attachment like the Wet and Dry Vacuum Dust Brush. This attachment is often recommended by users who have a Ryobi hand vacuum. However, you’re going to need a universal adaptor hose to hook it up with your Ryobi vacuum.
Many who reviewed this product see it as a way to get into tougher spaces that a hand vacuum struggles with. Because of the bristles on the end, it’s capable of picking up finer substances, such as dust or animal hair, and getting them out of carpets. Consumers share that they use it on carpets, rugs, couches, furniture used by animals, or in small spaces, like a vent that’s heavily clogged up. The bristles play a big in making it more potent than a traditional hand vacuum head.
If this attachment isn’t enough for you, or if you’re looking for alternatives to traditional vacuums, you might want to consider a good shop vac from a premium brand. After all, there’s just so much that a hand vacuum can do.Wet and Dry Micro-Crevice Tool
Users who have had the chance to use the Wet and Dry Micro-Crevice Tool recommend picking it up for a universal fit that works on multiple Ryobi products, although it relies on having the attachment hose adaptor. You can get it for $17.97.
Those who have this tool utilize it to clear out more sensitive areas that have piled on with layers of dust. As it’s a crevice tool, it’s more effective at cleaning up smaller locations that your hand vacuum traditionally can’t reach. It works with both dry and wet vacuums, meaning that it can be used to remove water or other liquids from hard-to-reach areas. Users also recommend it for outdoor use, given that it works on various types of debris.
That said, you need to make sure your vacuum can handle wet materials beforehand, because this could cause issues with a standard hand vacuum. If you still don’t have a hand vacuum with you, you should make sure you understand the difference between Ryobi’s various hand vacuums, including which ones can deal with water.Methodology
When it comes to Ryobi hand vacuums, there are only a handful of available attachments that you can use. The ones we’ve added to this list were chosen based on user reviews shared on Home Depot and other online stores, although Ryobi products are mostly available on Home Depot. Although you can purchase the attachments directly from the Ryobi website, you won’t find any consumer opinions there.

iPhone Air vs. Samsung S25 Edge: I compared both ultra-thin phones to decide a winner

0

Apple and Samsung are both chasing ultra-thin, lightweight designs this year – but who nailed it? Here’s my early verdict.
The market of ultra-thin and lightweight phones is officially at its tipping point, as Apple threw its hat into the ring this week with the new iPhone Air.
The newest and arguably most innovative iPhone features the company’s slimmest design yet, measuring at around 5.6mm thick. How did the folks at Cupertino achieve such a record? By opting for a smaller battery, fewer cameras, and some design elements that disrupt the norm, especially by iPhone standards. In other words, this is a totally different beast.
Its closest competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, is another one. The S25 Edge follows a similar design philosophy, serving users a burdenless hardware experience with some questionable omissions. Between the two phones, which one should you buy? That’s what I’m here to answer.Specifications You should buy the iPhone Air if.
What do I mean by that? For starters, the iPhone Air starts at $999, undercutting the S25 Edge by $100, so it’s already an investment that should be easier to manage. That money gets you 256GB of internal storage (the same as the Samsung), Apple’s repubtable software update policy that keeps the phone feature-relevant for years down the road, and an iOS experience that has proven reliable for app support and fluidity.
It goes without saying that if you’re a current iPhone user, the iPhone Air will be the better choice of the two, with benefits like easier data transfer (including those pesky contacts that never save properly) and access to a familiar suite of iOS apps like iMessage and FaceTime.
Apple’s retail presence is also much stronger than Samsung’s, with multiple stores centralized across popular cities in the U.S. (and outside) for smoother servicing.
Apple says the iPhone Air can reach a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, beating the S25 Edge’s 2,600-nit rating. That simply means the iPhone will appear brighter when outdoors or under intense lighting, making the device easier to read, browse, and navigate.
As far as other display specs go, the iPhone Air competes squarely with the S25 Edge, from the 120Hz display to the durability of the glass layering. You can also argue that the iPhone’s smaller 6.5-inch screen size makes it easier to wield and operate with one hand compared to the S25 Edge’s 6.7-inch screen. You should buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge if.
While both manufacturers had limited form factors to build cameras around, Samsung offers more creative freedom with the S25 Edge. That starts with the 200MP main sensor (compared to the iPhone Air’s 48MP), which enables high-resolution images when cropped or captured in RAW.
Then you factor in the additional 12MP ultrawide sensor that stretches the width of the shots you can take. I expect Apple to heavily market the iPhone Air’s “Fusion Camera”, but trust me when I say that no artificial modifications will ever beat pure, physical optics.
Android phones have always been more functional than iPhones, and that holds true for the S25 Edge. Compared to the iPhone Air, the Samsung handset features a more expansive AI toolkit, backed by both Galaxy AI and Google’s Gemini services. That includes browsing tools like Circle to Search, a more extensive image editing suite, system-wide translation capabilities, and more.
The S25 Edge also supports physical SIM cards, while the iPhone Air is eSIM only, no matter which region you purchase the handset from. This may be a deal breaker for frequent travelers who require the use of local SIM cards or customers who simply don’t want to digitize their SIM cards.
For audio-listeners, the S25 Edge packs a stereo speaker system versus the iPhone’s mono audio channel. It’ll be very difficult for the iPhone to output a louder and richer sound than the Galaxy, even if Apple embeds some screen vibration technology to help amplify the audio.
Lastly, the S25 Edge has a larger 3,900mAh battery compared to the iPhone Air’s estimated 2,800mAh capacity. Still, those numbers don’t tell the full endurance story, so we’ll have to test the iPhone to see exactly how optimized the device is. Alternatives to consider iPhone 16 Plus
The iPhone 16 Pro has an A18 chip and support for Apple Intelligence.Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus
It’s not as thin as the Edge model, but the S25 Plus does have an extra telephoto lens and a larger battery, making it a fantastic alternative if you’re leaning toward Samsung.

Hong Kong Disneyland Teases Avengers and Pixar Attractions

0

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the masters of scare are expected to join Disneyland Hong Kong in the near future.
Disneyland Hong Kong first opened 20 years ago, and to celebrate, the company showed off concept for what’s coming in the future.
Concept art below shows teases for attractions based on Marvel and Pixar. For the superheroes, one art features the Avengers headquarters, while another shows Spider-Man with Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Thor in Asgard around a pod of parkgoers dropping through the Bifrost Bridge. This concept art—and a previously released art of Spidey holding a pod while fighting Doctor Octopus near a portal—suggest a drop ride in the vein of “Mission Breakout.” Disney hasn’t given this ride an official title, but teased it’d be “a team-up with the Avengers for an unexpected adventure!”
This’ll be Marvel’s third addition to the Hong Kong’s Stark Expo in Tomorrowland, and was first announced back in 2024. At the moment, it’s unclear if this attraction is still focused on Spider-Man with some guest stars, or has fully converted into an Avengers attraction that also features the wall-crawler.
Meanwhile, the Pixar art shows Mike, Sully, and others Monsters Inc. workers moving doors around in front of a crowd with Boo hanging around in the background. Like the Marvel attraction, there’s no official name for this, or what it’ll entail; the description for this one promises other Pixar characters will participate in “an all-new immersive theatrical experience celebrating the joy of friendship and the power of play.”
No release window for either so far, but we’ll have more on what’s to come for Disneyland Hong Kong as information comes out.
