Sticky Notes for Windows 10 now let's you make a new note from the taskbar

Microsoft updated its Sticky Notes app for Windows 10, adding the ability to create a new note from the jump list, support for kaomojis, and a number of other feature improvements.
Microsoft updated its Sticky Notes app for Windows 10, which is an important part of the Windows Ink experience that debuted with the Anniversary Update. If you’re not familiar with it, the app basically allows you to create digital Post-it notes, but with Windows Ink, you can now use Cortana to create reminders and more.
Today’s update adds a number of new features. For example, you’ll be able to create new notes via the jump list in the taskbar. Here’s the full changelog:
It’s important to note that the app that got updated is the UWP one, and not the desktop app that users of older versions of Windows are familiar with. This is the one that was developed with Windows Ink in mind.
One feature that many will find exciting is the support for kaomoji, so now, you can express indifference in your notes with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or the fact that you’re so angry that you want to flip over a table with (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻. You can download Sticky Notes from the Windows Store here.

ティアゴ・アルカンタラ（ Thiago Alcantara do Nascimento ）を中心に、後半の10分間に一挙3ゴールを挙げてアーセナルを沈めたバイエルンは、これでチャンピオンズリーグではホーム16連勝となった。
試合は前半11分にアリエン・ロッベン（ Arjen Robben ）が見事なミドルシュートを決めてバイエルンが先制。アーセナルも同30分にPKを獲得すると、アレクシス・サンチェス（ Alexis Sanchez ）のキックは守護神マヌエル・ノイアー（ Manuel Neuer ）に阻まれが、こぼれ球を自らねじ込んで同点に追いついた。
しかしバイエルンは、後半開始からギアを一つ上げて連続ゴールで相手を突き放した。後半8分にロベルト・レワンドフスキ（ Robert Lewandowski ）のヘディングシュートで勝ち越すと、ティアゴが立て続けに2ゴール。終了間際には交代出場のトーマス・ミュラー（ Thomas Mueller ）にも得点が生まれ、見事なゴールラッシュを披露した。

アーセナルは2015年11月にバイエルンとグループリーグで対戦したときにも1-5で敗れているが、この日はそのときと同じく、欧州カップ戦のアウェーゲームではクラブ最悪の大敗を喫してしまった。

Министерство обороны США рассматривает возможность отправки регулярных боевых наземных подразделений в Сирию для борьбы с террористической группировкой Исламское государство. Об этом сообщает телеканал CNN.
“Возможно, вы увидите, как регулярные войска США высадятся на некоторое время в Сирии”, – заявил представитель Пентагона.
Однако окончательное решение об отправке войск должен принять президент США Дональд Трамп .
Журналисты также отмечают, что, если такое решение будет принято, это существенно изменит военные операции США в Сирии.
13 февраля неправительственный аналитический центр США Atlantic Council опубликовал 70-страничный доклад под названием “Breaking Aleppo”, в котором описаны военные преступления Российской Федерации, режима Башара Асада в Сирии, в частности в городе Алеппо, а также роль США в урегулировании конфликта в Сирии.

Halo Wars 2 limited edition prints will be available for sale starting February 16

Microsoft unveiled poster art in early February for Halo Wars 2. It now appears that prints will be made available for purchase starting February 16 with the game itself arriving on February 21.
Towards the beginning of the month, Microsoft unveiled some beautiful posters created by three famous artists: Gabz, Craig Drake, and Kevin Tong. They were all very unique but managed to successfully capture themes from the upcoming Halo title, Halo Wars 2. While they were not available for sale at the time, the posters will now be offered as a limited edition prints.
To coincide with the release of the prints and the game, the Xbox team commissioned murals to be created across the United States based on the art from the posters. The murals are located in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, and Austin. If you are unable to visit or simply want to see the creation process, be sure to check out the video above.
The limited edition prints will be available starting on February 16 at 10am PT from the Hero Complex Gallery. Also be sure to check out the 343 Industries live stream tomorrow to catch exclusive interviews and possibly win some prizes. Halo Wars 2 will arrive on the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs on February 21.

Der Halbbruder des nordkoreanischen Machthabers war auf dem Flughafen von Kuala Lumpur angegriffen worden. Auf dem Weg ins Krankenhaus starb er. Südkorea beschuldigt das Regime in Pjöngjang, dahinter zu stecken.

Страны НАТО считают, что в интересах и Европы, и Канады направлять более значительные средства на оборонные расходы.
Генеральный секретарь НАТО Йенс Столтенберг согласился с требованием министра обороны США Джеймса Мэттиса к партнерам по Альянсу об увеличении расходов на оборону.
Выступление главы Пентагона было с пониманием воспринято министрами обороны стран НАТО, сообщает Reuters.
“Это не какое-то одолжение США, а потому что именно они сами считают, что в интересах и Европы, и Канады направлять более значительные средства на оборонные расходы”, – заявил Столтенберг на встрече министров обороны стран-членов НАТО в Брюсселе в среду 15 февраля.
Инициативу Мэттиса поддержал министр обороны Британии Майкл Фэллон, а глава оборонного ведомства ФРГ Урсула фон дер Ляйен подчеркнула, что требование США об оборонных увеличении расходов членов Альянса является правильным.
По словам Столтенберга, Литва и Румыния уже обязались увеличить ежегодные расходы на оборону до уровня 2% от ВВП в ближайшее время, передает The Washington Post.
Как сообщалось, 15 февраля министр обороны США Джеймс Мэттис потребовал от союзников по НАТО увеличить финансирование обороны.
Сейчас большинство из 28 стран НАТО не выполняют норматива Альянса и тратят на оборону менее 2% от ВВП.

PlayStation Now subscribers accessing Sony’s streaming service via anything but a PS4 or Windows PC are pretty much out of luck.
Sony on Wednesday said it will discontinue the service on Aug. 15 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, all 2013-2015 Sony Bravia TV models, all Sony Blu-ray players and all Samsung TV models. Support for 2016 Bravia TV models will be discontinued April 1.
PlayStation Now gives subscribers unlimited streaming access to over 400 PlayStation 3 games. Sony expanded the service to Windows PC last August.
“After thoughtful consideration, we decided to shift our focus and resources to PS4 and Windows PC to further develop and improve the user experience on these two devices,” said Brian Dunn, a senior marketing manager for PlayStation Now, in a blog post. “This move puts us in the best position to grow the service even further. ”
Sony didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

You can finally get your hands on an Apple HomeKit-compatible security camera.
D-Link on Wednesday unveiled its new Omna 180 Cam HD (DSH-C10) camera that lets users monitor their homes when they’re away. The device is the first HomeKit-enabled device from D-Link’s Omna line and the first HomeKit-compatible security camera in the market at all.
The camera, with its 180-degree wide angle lens, costs $199.95 and is for sale immediately on Apple’s online store. It will be available in Apple’s physical stores around the world later this month.
“Omna’s HomeKit integration allows users to be ‘always home’ and includes advanced security features with end-to-end encryption and authentication between the camera and an iPhone or iPad,” D-Link said. When the camera detects activity, it sends a notice to the owner’s lock screen (delivered via the Apple Home app ) and shows a live feed from the camera. Users can access the camera remotely to see what’s happening in their homes in real time.
The home is viewed by many as the next big battlefront for tech companies. Apple first talked about HomeKit at its developer conference in 2014. The feature allows developers to integrate controls for door locking, light dimming, and other home automation gadgets and features in iOS apps for the iPhone and iPad. That means users can control various connected devices from one spot — even using Apple’s digital voice assistant, Siri — rather than switching back and forth between different apps.
Apple was early to talk about smart-home technology, but rival Amazon, with its Alexa voice assistant, has lately dominated the market. The number of Alexa-compatible devices outnumber HomeKit products, and fewer HomeKit devices have been released than expected.
