Google Street View , a technology featured in Google Maps and Google Earth that provides panoramic views from positions along many streets in the world has partnered with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) to boost the country’s wildlife tourism.
In the partnership, the Google Street View team visited and documented seven of the country’s most beautiful and iconic Savannah National parks which are home to an amazing variety of wildlife.
Among the parks visited included the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds, Kidepo National park, Lake Mburo, Murchison falls among others.
