Samsung Electronics has made an important step on the road to 5G with the commercial readiness of a 5G RF Integrated Circuit. With MWC coming up we should hear more news from the company about 5G.
Samsung has announced the “commercial readiness” of 5G RF Integrated Circuit (RFIC), the component is key in the production and commercialization of the next-generation base stations and other radio access products and was described as an important milestone on the path to commercial 5G , by Samsung.
Samsung’s 5G RFIC has been designed for low cost, high efficiency and compact form factors and will “greatly strengthen the overall performance of 5G access units”.
