The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a title that has amassed a lot of praise. Nintendo has now released three videos that show us the process and what it took to build this masterpiece.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was in development for quite some time and although there were multiple delays, when it finally arrived, it was met with near unanimous praise. While there have been bits and pieces revealed about the development process over the years, Nintendo has now released nearly 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage for the title.
The 30 minutes of footage is broken up into three ten minute segments that explain the beginnings of the title starting in 2013, how the characters and story were developed, and finally how the team built its open world environment.
„The Beginning“ video is particularly interesting because it discusses how Nintendo wanted to break the mold and how ideas for the game were submitted through the company’s internal BBS system.
