The singer turned fashion mogul insisted she’s not having a third child and has an IUD.
Jessica Simpson appears on “ The Ellen DeGeneres Show ” Monday to make a “very exciting” announcement.
“I’ m not pregnant on your show!” told the 36-year-old fashion mogul to the 59-year-old comedienne.
“Are you sure that you’ re not pregnant?” questioned DeGeneres. “I heard that you were.”
“Oh, gosh!” replied Simpson. “We had an IUD. Nothing’s gonna get in that uterus.”
It’s been four years since Simpson’s last appearance on the daytime talk show and the TV host reminded her, “You only show up here when you’ re pregnant.”
Simpson, who has a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son with her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, promised she’s “not having a third” child.
These days, the former pop star said she and her beau prefer to spend time together.
“He kind of likes TV shows, but he snores through them, ” explained Simpson on what the couple like to do for fun. “So, I guess I like that. He golfs; I don’ t. We love our kids and I like to get a back massage — every night, since I was pregnant, hands down. Even if things aren’ t going great and he’s still snoring somehow, he knows how to massage my back.”
When DeGeneres pointed out that it’s impossible for the 37-year-old to be asleep while giving a back rub, Simpson responded, “His hands somehow find me!”
Simpson is also keeping busy with her billion-dollar business in the fashion world.
“Isn’ t that awesome? It can happen for anybody!” said Simpson. She also revealed that the 11-year-old company is only getting bigger.
“We’ re always expanding. There’s nothing out of reach for us, ” she said.
Simpson also confirmed that she’s working on new music and is determined to release it later this year.
“I probably have about 38, so maybe 36 or 39 [songs written so far] , ” she explained. “I have to play it for you, because I think you’ ll be impressed. I’ m impressed with myself!”
