The country music festival sent out a tweet confirming that fans, who were evacuated an hour prior, would be let back in at 4: 10 p.m.
The heavy rain has passed and the Faster Horses Festival crew is feeling confident enough in the weather forecast to resume and let fans back in Sunday afternoon, July 23.
Once an updated performance schedule and set times are released, this post will update to show those changes. The delay was issued before Lauren Alaina, Sunday’s second main stage act, was set to go on at 3: 15 p.m.

„Due to storm cells with high winds and/or thunder and lightning, we need to clear the festival site, “ a warning to the some-40,000 fans read on the big screen. „During this weather evacuation, please move quickly and calmly to the nearest exit and proceed to a protected area. Please seek shelter for your safety.“
The National Weather Service reports that „heavy downpours and wind gusts 30-40 mph likely“ to develop Sunday afternoon. NWS said in a tweet that pea-sized hail is also possible, and that the storms will develop east of I-75 after 4 p.m. and through the evening.
