Brad Keselowski has won 23 races for Team Penske in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series.
Rumors that suggested Rochester Hills driver Brad Keselowski was going to split with Team Penske when his contract expires at season’s end were squashed Tuesday.
Keselowski isn’t going anywhere.
Team Penske released a statement announcing that the organization and Keselowski have reached a multiyear extension that will keep him behind the wheel of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series. In addition, crew chief Paul Wolfe has agreed to a multiyear extension, too.
„Roger and everyone at Team Penske have given me everything we need to win championships at the highest levels of NASCAR, “ Keselowski said. „As I have said all along, Team Penske is where I want to be and I am thrilled to continue with the organization well into the future. I have a lot of years left in the sport and I truly feel our best years are ahead of us.“
Keselowski, the 2012 champion, has won 22 Cup and 29 Xfinity races. He joined Team Penske late in the 2009 season.
