Paul sat down with CNN’s State of the Union Sunday and was asked whether or not the president has the authority to pardon himself over the weekend and weigh in on the hot button issue.
„I think in all likelihood he does. I think that some of this hasn’t been adjudicated, “ Paul said.

This comes after the President sent out a tweet on Saturday saying, „While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us.“
The Washington Post reported Thursday that the Trump legal team is looking into the president’s authority to pardon his family, aides and even himself.
