In the about 30-minute telephone conference, the leaders of the two countries agreed to maintain their close cooperation – and their cooperation with South Korea – to strongly urge China and Russia to exercise their influence on North Korea to prevent Pyongyang from going ahead with a launch of ballistic missiles.
