Bachelor Nation stars Carly Waddell and Evan Bass announced Sunday that they’ re expecting their first child together.
“SECRET IS OUT GUYS!!!! Evan and I are SO EXCITED to announce we are HAVING A BABY!!!” Waddell, 31, wrote on Instagram.
“What a beautiful, wonderful, wild year it has been and the adventure continues Feb 2018!”

The couple met on “Bachelor in Paradise” and got engaged in the season finale.
„Carly, our life in Paradise has been nothing short of epic. My love for you has only gotten stronger. And the love I feel from you is the most amazing, inexplicable, mind-blowing thing that I just never in a million years thought I would get. I feel like my heart beats to your soul, ” the 34-year-old erectile dysfunction specialist, who has three other children, said.
“I want my kids to see a love like we have, and I want them to know an amazing woman like you are. Carly, I wanna chase after the fairy tales, and go on all of the adventures, and find all of the interesting things in this world to explore.… I want to start a life with you. I want you to be my wife. Carly Waddell, will you freaking marry me?“
They were married in June in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in a ceremony that was supposed to be aired live on ABC, but was pulled amid the Warner Bros. investigation into the alleged sexual assault between contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

“Bachelor” host Chris Harrison officiated the wedding, which was also attended by alums including Nick Viall, Tanner Tolbert and Ashley Iaconetti.
The wedding special is expected to air eventually on ABC.
