WEST VALLEY CITY — Police have identified a man who died after his car rear-ended a semitrailer Sunday.
Kevin J. Callaway, 57, died after his car came upon the semitrailer and hit it near 2100 South on northbound Bangerter Highway, said West Valley Police Lt. Jeff Conger.
Conger didn’t immediately know where Callaway lived. He was driving at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash, according to the lieutenant.
The driver of the semitrailer was not injured.
Other details about the circumstances of the crash were not known Monday morning.
