North Korea’s foreign minister responded to Donald Trump’s recent threats by claiming a nuclear strike on the US is now „inevitable“
In a fiery speech at the United Nations last week, President Donald Trump claimed Kim Jong Un’s nuclear endeavors are equivalent to a “suicide mission” — to which North Korea responded by re-upping their threats and saying the US is actually the country vying for self-destruction.
These comments came from North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho during a volatile speech in front of the UN Generally Assembly on Saturday.
Ri apparently took particular offense to Trump’s “Rocket Man” insult, saying:
Ri also claimed that North Korea’s nuclear capabilities are being developed to act as a “war deterrent” against a US invasion of the communist country. “Our ultimate goal is to establish the balance of power with the US,” said Ri.
