Lenovo’s new Yoga 920 convertible includes a quad-core Intel eighth-generation processor, a 4K display, pen support, and more. Here’s our unboxing video with the firm’s latest flagship convertible.
Announced at IFA 2017 in Berlin this year, Lenovo’s new Yoga 920 seems to check all of the right boxes. It’s the company’s newest flagship convertible for consumers, whereas the ThinkPad lineup is aimed more at businesses.
For one thing, it’s among the first PCs to include Intel’s new eighth-generation quad-core U-series processors. This means that it should be much more powerful for many workloads than existing seventh-generation dual-core machines. Thin and light, it includes integrated graphics that power a 13.9-inch 4K display.
But that’s not all, because the device also includes far-field voice microphones for use with Cortana. I haven’t tried out this particular feature yet, but it should even work when the device is asleep, and when it’s closed.
Aside from that, it comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. There are two Thunderbolt 3 ports, along with a lone USB Type-A port, which doubles as a place to plug in the pen holster.
Here’s our unboxing and first impressions of the Lenovo Yoga 920:
