Houston police have arrested a man who was initially going to be charged with drunk and disorderly conduct at a downtown hotel, until officers discovered an arsenal of weapons in his room.
Houston police have arrested a man who was initially going to be charged with drunk and disorderly conduct at a downtown hotel, until officers discovered an arsenal of weapons in his room.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a resident at the Hyatt Regency Downtown had been drinking at the bar and reportedly became highly intoxicated.
Hotel security tried to send him to his room, but he began to fight with them, officials said.
Security called the Houston Police Department.
Security and HPD officers went to the suspect’s room to gather his belongings, where they reportedly found an AR-15, a shotgun and a handgun, with many rounds of ammunition.
Investigators are waiting to interview him and find out why he was there with all those weapons.
