After the College Football Playoff selection committee announced its final four Sunday afternoon, bowl games wasted little times making their selections known.
NC State (8-4) will play Arizona State in the Sun Bowl on Dec. 29 in El Paso, Texas.
Duke, meanwhile, is headed to the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit, Mich., after winning its last two games of the season to get bowl eligible. Duke’s opponent hasn’t yet been announced.
Wake Forest will stay close to home with a Belk Bowl matchup with Texas A&M at Bank of America Stadium at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29.
