Leading mobile chip makers Qualcomm and MediaTek have announced that they will be working with Google to optimize smartphones for the newly announced Android Oreo (Go edition). The first smartphones running on the Android Oreo (Go edition) will be released early next year.
Qualcomm will be optimizing its entry-level Snapdragon chipsets for smartphones with 512MB to 1GB of RAM so that they can deliver enhanced performance for a smoother software experience.
