The Oreo update clocks in at a hefty 1.66 GB and is being rolled out over-the-air. Nokia 6 users can check for the update manually be heading over to Settings > System > Check for Update. A few weeks ago, HMD Global rolled out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Nokia 6 (2018) and the Nokia 7.

Android 8.0 Oreo brings with it many features such as app optimisations, better battery management algorithms, notification channels, notifications dots, the Google Play Protect malware system and picture-in-picture support for applications.
The Nokia 6 runs on a near 100 percent stock version of Android devoid of extraneous bloat and gimmicks. It is s built like a tank and made out of a single block of aluminium that HMD Global claims takes 55 minutes to machine.
On the imaging front, the phone comes with a 16MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8MP sensor for selfies. Additionally, the smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS LCD display, 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card and a 3,000mAh battery.
