PUBG Corporation has made some information available for the game PUBG. The developers have assured that in the coming weeks and months the PUBG Updates will be having a ping-based matchmaking system and with that new maps will also be revealed in martch along with the development plans.
The online multiplayer battle royale game PUBG will be receiving a Ping-based Matchmaking system and some new maps will also be added. That is, in the upcoming PUBG Updates.
As we all know the game has a huge fan base and they are anxious to find out whats next? New maps have been in the talks for quite some time and just yesterday the PUBG Corporation has rolled out some details regarding the PUBG Updates that will be taking place in the coming weeks and months.
Among many features, one of the major that is being focused on by the developers is the Ping-based Matchmaking system. According to the developers, those “users with the lower pings will be prioritized during matchmaking”. For now, this feature has not been rolled out and is being worked on by the developers. They are also referring to it as an “experimental method”.
This will be done “by splitting the matching pool rather than restricting connection depending on ping”, the developers are confident that this feature will improve the playing experience. With that said the company also added the information that this feature will be going into its first trials starting this week. Although no specific date has been disclosed for it.
Many other small features and additions to the game have also been discussed but one that needs attention is the demand of the new Maps for the game and the developers have assured that there are new Maps coming our way. According to the developers, the new PUBG Maps are also been worked on and will be revealed in March.
That won’t be the only thing that will be revealed in March, the developers have assured that they realize that fans are wondering about the developmental plans, so they too will be revealed alongside new Maps.
According to the PUBG Corporation, very recently the PUBG Updates have had delays and that they say is because the team’s resources were focused on cheat blocking and prevention. PUBG game that has been nailing down milestones per milestones by selling over 30 million copies on the PC through Steam platform, its active fan base seems to be at a decline.
The numerous reports of cheating have the game to somewhat of a disadvantage in context to its concurrent players. Although the PUBG Corporation has had their eyes set on the issue and they have promised the players new anti-cheat software that will be introduced very soon.
So that is also a hopeful news for those who were losing the attachment to the game. One thing is for sure, neither the fans are ready to let this game go nor are the developers.
