UK prices, deals and release dates for the new Apple iPad.
Apple’s unveiled its latest iPad; cheaper than the iPad Pro, but still with something of a productivity angle. UK networks have already come forwards to say they’ll be selling it. Here’s how to get one.

So far, EE, O2 and Vodafone have said that they will be selling the new iPad with the A10 Fusion chip.
EE is selling new iPads on pre-order as of the 29th of March. Vodafone’s confirmed that it will start selling new iPads from the 5th of April, with O2 yet to confirm. Three has yet to make an announcement on whether it will sell the new iPad, but it’s still got stock of the old A9-running iPad as well as the iPad Pro.
Here are the best iPad deals available so far.
The best iPad plan you can get from EE is the Max plan, which gives you 25GB of data to burn through and a 32GB new iPad for £49.99 up front and £45/month over 24 months.
Alternatively, if you don’t want or need that much data, you can save £120 by opting for the cheaper 2GB deal, which sees you paying £49.99 up front again for a 32GB iPad, and £40/month instead.
If you can pay £45/month or £50/month, then you’ll be able to get a 128GB iPad on 2GB and 20GB plans, with the up front cost remaining at £49.99.
O2’s yet to announce prices or release dates for the new iPad, but if you’re still shopping around for a new iOS tablet, then you can pick up a 32GB 2017 iPad for £9.99 up front and £38/month, with free O2 WiFi included.
All Vodafone’s confirmed so far is the launch date – the 5th of April – and some pricing details for the entry-level tariff that’ll give you just 500MB of data. Vodafone says that plans giving you 5GB, 20GB and 50GB will be included, but we don’t currently have any more info on that front.
Three has yet to confirm whether or not it’ll take the new iPad, but for £99, you’ll be able to pick up a 32GB 2017 iPad for £39/month, which gives you 20GB to rip through. What’s more, the Go Binge add-on is included, so you can watch as much Netflix, TVPlayer and Dave on demand as you like.
