The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be the first ever phone from Asus to run Pure (stock) Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
Asus is all set to launch its first smartphone of the year – the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India today. The company had sent out media invites for the launch event last week. Asus also announced a strategic partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart last week to announce the all-new Zenfone Max Pro M1. This means the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be available exclusively on Flipkart soon after the launch today.
The launch event is scheduled to happen at 12:30 PM today in the National Capital. The event will also be live-streamed on company’s YouTube Channel and Facebook page. But, reports claim that the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be a battery centric phone and is expected to come with a massive 5000mAh battery paired with reverse charging feature. Asus calls the Zenfone Max Pro’s as „unbeatable battery“.
The dedicated page for Zenfone Max Pro M1 on Flipkart confirms that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor and will run on stock Android operating system. Asus is one of its official teasers claim that the new Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be up to „50 per cent faster than the leading processors in the segment.“
Last week, the complete specs page of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 was leaked. The listing revealed almost all the key specs that we can expect the smartphone to come packed with. The listing revealed that the smartphone may come with a Full View 5.5-inch display with thin bezels on the sides and edges.
The listing had also confirmed the Snapdragon 636 processor of the Zenfone Max Pro M1. In addition, the listing revealed that the smartphone may come packed with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone may launch in two variants – where the base variant could come with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the high-end model could come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
As for the camera setup, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is tipped to come with a 16-megapixel sensor on both the back and front panel. The front camera may be paired with LED flash. As for software set up, Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be the first ever phone from Asus to run Pure (stock) Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
