CNN commentator and longtime Clinton associate Paul Begala said that he agrees with Republicans in their criticism of former FBI directer James Comey on CNN Thursday.

“I have no love for James Comey. I’m with the RNC on this. I don’t know if he’s a liar, though. That’s a difference. He’s not a liar. I don’t know that he lied, but the problem is he told the truth very selectively, attacking Hillary Clinton and not ever revealing that Trump himself was under investigation, too,” Begala said. Comey’s upcoming book will be critical of President Trump, according to many news reports.
The book also contains disparaging remarks about Trump’s physical appearance.
