Motorola was recently giving large discounts on its smartphones on the occasion of its 45th anniversary. However, the offer was only valid for a certain period of time. If you had missed the sale, don’t worry. The company has permanently slashed the price of the Moto G5S, which was launched in the country in August last year.

The price cut indicates that Motorola is ready to launch the next generation Moto G lineup of smartphones.
To recall, the Moto G5S comes with a 5.2-inch FHD display with a screen resolution of 1,080×1,920 pixels (424ppi pixel density). The display is covered by a Corning Gorilla glass on top for added protection.
Under its hood, the Motorola Moto G5S makes use of an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz. The memory aspect of the smartphone is taken care of by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The storage space is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Moto G5S has a 16-megapixel PDAF primary camera at the rear. At the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper accompanied by a flash.
The Moto G5S runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone also comes with a 15 Watt Turbocharger support.
The Moto G5S is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity suite of the smartphone offers Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, an Accelerometer, an Ambient light sensor and a Gyroscope.
