Update #1 Avengers: Infinity War earned more than $25.2 million in the domestic box office on Monday, making it the best performance by any movie released on the particular day and second-best in the MCU.

The box office record triumphed for not just the entire weekend but also independently for the biggest Saturday and Sunday with $83 million and $61 million respectively.
