A Parnell man died after his car went off the road, flipping multiple times and ejecting him from the vehicle.
A car accident in eastern Iowa left one man dead Sunday after the car he was driving flipped multiple times and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Highway F52 and R Avenue, resulted after the driver, Patrick Donohoe, 54, of Parnell lost control of his car while driving through a curve to the left.
The car went off the road and flipped multiple times, causing Donohoe, whom officials said was not wearing a seatbelt, to be ejected from the car.
Donohoe was pronounced dead at the scene by the Iowa County medical examiner.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Iowa County sheriff’s office and Iowa County EMS.
