Rare has recently revealed the teaser trailer and the release date for the Sea of Thieves Update „The Hungering Deep“. According to Rare this The Hungering Deep is a medium sized update for its multiplayer piratical escapade.
Very recently Sea Of Thieves was down for emergency maintenance but it came back online, but the previously added features were turned off temporarily. Although those fans have who have been really annoyed with this move there is a bit of a good news for them. Rare has recently revealed the teaser trailer and the release date for the Sea of Thieves Update “The Hungering Deep”.
The Sea of Thieves Update The Hungering Deep will be the first proper content update which is scheduled to launch for Xbox One and PC on May 29th.
Rare described The Hungering Deep as a medium sized update for its multiplayer piratical escapade. Furthermore, this update is the first of the six content expansions scheduled to roll out this year. It has set to bring a new enemy, AI threat, plus new tools, mechanics and rewards. In comparison to the other updates that are in line, this will be a little smaller in scale.
Alongside the announcement, the teaser trailer for this Sea of Thieves Update talks about some really intriguing stuff. The trailer talks about the giant sea monsters, ancient seafarers, sacrifices and much more. Although the trailer does touch a lot of stuff, it is still not a lot to go on with.
Hopefully, this Sea Of Thieves Update brings in some heavily story-driven content and perhaps Rare does not want to spoil it.
Apart from the release date and the trailer, this update will introduce a number of new mechanics in order to aid players taking part in the adventure and above all, there will be new rewards as well.
According to the Sea of Thieves executive producer Joe Neate “We’ve been listening closely to our community, and we know how keen they are to hear how we plan to grow Sea of Thieves”. Joe further added that Rare has always aimed to use the community feedback to improve the game and evolve towards the better side of gaming.
Let’s hope that with this approaching update they are able to achieve what they aim for.
