Today, Adobe took the wraps off of their new cross-platform video editor: Project Rush…
Project Rush will run on macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS. The whole thing runs in the cloud and is designed to make making high-quality videos accessible for people who may not be familiar with more complex video editing software. Being cloud-based, all of your edits will save to the cloud instantly so you can go from desktop to mobile with ease.
Ease of use seems to be one of the main selling points of Adobe’s new service. Apart from just being able to import footage, the mobile app will have the ability to capture video in-app, then use simple tools to adjust color, audio, etc. From there, it is easy to share the new video to social media.
Adobe touts Project Rush, saying that it runs with the power of their popular editing software, Premiere Pro CC. With that power, you can create your own professional looking titles with cool animations. Underlying this is the ability to make a bigger splash on social media with the high quality videos that can be churned out by Project Rush.
Project Rush is currently in beta. You can sign up by visiting Adobe’s website. We are excited to see how Project Rush could change the mobile video editing space.
