Alice Johnson could be seen running to freedom just hours after the Tennessee woman had her sentence commuted by President Trump.
The 63-year-old Johnson sprinted across the lawn at a federal prison in Alabama and landed into the arms of family and friends who embraced her while holding flowers.
The dramatic footage was captured by Alabama news station WVTM-13 .
Johnson had received a commutation of her sentence after an Oval Office intervention from reality TV star Kim Kardashian last week.
She had been serving a life in prison for a non-violent drug offense.
